01
Selection comes before monetisation
BagBack first defines the passenger problem: phone compatibility, bag identification, battery safety, privacy or reliable weighing. Products are then assessed against that purpose using current manufacturer, airline and industry information.
Commission rate, retailer prominence and copied customer ratings are not ranking criteria. BagBack does not claim hands-on or laboratory testing unless that testing has actually taken place and the method is explained.
02
Affiliate and ordinary links are different
An affiliate link contains tracking information that may attribute a purchase to BagBack. A normal link to an airline, regulator, manufacturer or source does not earn a commission unless it is explicitly labelled as a paid or affiliate link.
Prices, availability and specifications can change after publication. Readers should check the exact model and seller information before buying.
03
Baggage help does not depend on a purchase
A tracker can provide a location clue but never replaces the airline bag tag, PIR or written claim. A luggage tag can add identity but cannot guarantee recovery. A scale can reduce weight uncertainty but cannot change an airline allowance.
BagBack's reporting, tracking and claims guides remain accessible without a product purchase or commercial referral.
04
Corrections and commercial changes
If a commercial relationship ends, the editorial explanation should remain useful and paid links should be removed or replaced. If a specification changes, the affected recommendation and review date should be updated.
BagBack uses the retailer-specific disclosure wording required by each programme when tracked links are published. Bagsmart and Case Luggage links run through Awin and use sponsored and nofollow link attributes.
