01
Create the PIR before leaving arrivals
Pegasus tells passengers with delayed, lost or damaged checked baggage to visit the Lost Baggage Office responsible for its flights before leaving the arrivals hall. Take the PNR, ticket or boarding pass, baggage tag and identification so the office can create the Property Irregularity Report.
02
Follow the report through Pegasus’s official service
Pegasus says baggage files may be handled through WorldTracer and directs passengers to its Track Baggage route or Pegasus Assistant for updates. Start from the official help centre and use the reference issued on the PIR. BagBack cannot see or amend the record.
03
Send the evidence for the type of claim
- For every case: PIR, PNR, ticket or boarding pass and baggage tag.
- For a lost bag: an accurate checked-baggage contents list.
- For damage: the bag’s brand and model, photographs, repair invoice if repaired, and purchase evidence where available.
- Use bank details only inside the verified Pegasus submission route, never on BagBack.
04
Treat the report and written complaint as separate steps
The PIR records the airport incident and starts operational handling. It does not by itself complete a reimbursement or damage claim. Pegasus publishes a seven-day written period for checked-baggage damage and a 21-day period for delay after the bag is returned; check the current route and the law applying to your journey immediately.
05
Wait for confirmed delivery or collection instructions
A tracker point or WorldTracer update is not permission to enter a restricted area or collect the bag. Keep the file details accurate and wait for Pegasus or its handler to confirm the next handover.
